Description

Anna Sullivan has spent the last thirty years traveling solo around the world as a nature photographer and she’s loved every minute of it. But suddenly, the nights seem long and lonely, and she looks forward to her trips away from Bluebird, Maine and her sisters, Cee-cee and Steph, less and less. When a cruel twist of fate brings her back home, Anna reevaluates everything in her life. Can she find happiness in the hometown she’s spent a lifetime running away from?

This is the second book in the heartwarming Bluebird Bay series, preceded by Finding Tomorrow, but can also be read as a stand-alone

Home has so many meanings, each specific and personal to us all. This book features Anna’s story and her journey ‘home’. It’s unputdownable and I highly recommend you read it. While you don’t have to read the first book in this series to enjoy it, if you do start with the first one, then you’ll have so much more background and love Anna even more! This series is so realistic and full of nuggets of everyday life for women! You’ll laugh, cry, find peace and love every page. Buy the series and get started now. Then share you’re review(s) afterwords. Happy reading!

This is a fantastic book! Every emotion comes through as Anna’s story unfolds. It is so easy to fall in the love with these characters all over again. I wait for the next story to be told and see how these sisters keep growing.

This book was amazingly written, keeping me on my toes and picking it up throughout my breaks during the days just to get more of those delicious cupcakes!! Well done! I can’t wait until December to see how these sisters handle their dad and Stephanie quest!

Such a whirlwind of emotions being felt through out this book. Back to Bluebird Bay with the Sullivan Sisters and I feel like they are some of the most relatable book characters even though they’re a good bit older than me. If I’ve learned anything from the Sullivan sisters it’s that it’s never too late for a second chance at the life you truly want. Whether it’s love, a career, or rekindling a relationship with family. I’ve loved this series and I need more! Do yourself a favor and dive into this series, you will not regret it!

Denise Grover Swank has always been a favorite author of mine, beginning with the very first Rose Gardner book, but this trilogy team up with Christine Gael is like a guilty pleasure. It’s so refreshing to read a series that highlights the 40+ women and tells stories about how life not only goes on, but can be so much better later in life! Book 2 does NOT disappoint, and while I can’t wait for Stephanie’s turn, it’s bittersweet because that means the end of Bluebird Bay. Don’t think twice about purchasing this fabulous read!

Love this new series by one of my favorite authors. I related so much to these three sisters. The bond that holds them together is deep and strong. Yes they have their moments as all siblings do. But life’s complications are bent on testing that strength. Denise and Christine really knock it out of the park with this series. If you’re looking for a feel good read that touches your soul, this is the series for you!

Sometimes you just need a feel good read and that’s exactly what you get with the Bluebird Bay series! Finding Home is the second book in the series and while it chronicles the youngest sister Anna’s life, you also get multiple other perspectives from the other ladies in the series. That’s one of my favorite aspects of this series; each book focuses on one sister’s quest to really find herself, but you continue to get a story that keeps everyone else front and center as well. Bluebird Bay is such a charming town and it’s always fun to be immersed in the atmosphere. This series just does such a great job of showing your life doesn’t have to end when you’re middle-aged. I find myself relating to the women of the series in different ways, despite being in my upper 20s. Finding Home was definitely emotional, and I had both happy and sad tears at time. I sure do love the addition of Mick and Beckett to the sister’s lives. Beautifully written as well. Give this series a shot!

I am so loving these Bluebird Bay novels! The second book of this wonderful series features Anna Sullivan, the youngest of the Sullivan sisters. Anna is a bit of a nomadic photographer, traveling around the world on assignments. An unfortunate accident brings her back home to her sisters in Maine, where she discovers what’s really important in life. Finding Home is such an emotional, real life story that is beautifully written by the authors. I cannot wait for the next book to continue following this families journey of self discovery!

Bluebird Bay is quickly becoming one of my favorite destinations. Finding Home touches on many real life women's issues in a deeply satisfying manner. While this installment is mostly Anna's story, I thoroughly enjoyed that the story is told through the perspectives of all the Sullivan sisters. Anna returns home nursing an injury and feels unsettled. She isn't known for being a homebody but she's stuck in Bluebird Bay for the time being. And things in Bluebird Bay have changed. Her sister Stephanie has taken on the responsibility of caring for their father, and with her injury Anna can't really help. Her sister, Cee-cee, is busy with her cupcake shop and an upcoming contest, leaving Anna feeling a little neglected and restless. These characters have both heart and flaws. You cannot help but love them as they navigate the murky waters of family relationships. If you enjoy reading women's fiction with strong female characters and relationships then you don't want to miss this story!
